Description

Molecules are hard to see with the naked eye–they can be colorless, too small, or not abundant enough. Fluorescence to the rescue to help you study the invisible. The Winston Fluorescence Reader uses blue light illumination to allow you and your students to investigate phenomena. Simply place the MiniOne Photo Hood on top of The Winston Fluorescence Viewer base to reveal the GLOW!

Using fluorescence to visualize samples and reactions is a common molecular biology technique to determine how much sample is present or what is occurring when the sample is colorless, low in abundance, or too small to see. Test for the presence of DNA and visualize dilutions with The Winston.
